Finance Solution Architect - D365 F&O

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Project Operations projects: analysis, design, build, test, train, cutover, operations and support
• ▹Manage client engagement and lead workshops to define business requirements
• ▹Capture requirements in Business Scenario / Functional Requirements documents and user stories in Azure DevOps
• ▹Lead Conference Room Pilots to showcase the D365 solution to clients
• ▹Create deliverables for the team, including design documents for complex customizations and data mapping
• ▹Map fields between D365 and integrating systems; review design documents written by other team members
• ▹Ensure design documents cover boundary conditions and comprehensive test scenarios
• ▹Oversee configuration of D365 for Finance and Project Operations
• ▹Lead testing including functional, integration and automated testing using the Regression suite automation tool
• ▹Handle data mapping, migration and import into D365
• ▹Lead training for clients and team members
• ▹Lead pre-go-live cutover and post-go-live support, escalating to Microsoft when needed
• ▹Provide pre-sales support and estimations for customizations, reports, workflows, batch jobs, upgrades, integrations and data migration
• ▹Conduct training sessions at Unify University twice a year
• ▹Write 3-4 D365 ERP functional blog articles per year

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree
• ▹8+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics AX2012R3
• ▹Knowledge of D365 Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Expense Management and PMA
• ▹Knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory and Master Planning
• ▹Conversational English
