Responsibilities

• ▹Take AirPlay and Miracast from beta to default across the Airtame product line
• ▹Make firmware releases boring: predictable cadence, automated quality bar, routine fleet-wide shipping
• ▹Turn new silicon into a shipping Airtame: boot, network, thermal management, conferencing quality
• ▹Lead the team: run 1:1s, set the technical bar, support team members' growth

Requirements

• ▹Experience setting a team's technical direction: architecture calls, code reviews
• ▹Interest in the people side too: growing engineers, running 1:1s, hiring
• ▹At home with embedded Linux: kernel, BSP, userspace, C and C++ on-device
• ▹Experience with wireless stacks, streaming protocols, drivers
• ▹Experience shipping software to the field: staged rollouts, OTA updates, on-device testing
• ▹Experience turning new hardware into a product: bringup, boot, network, thermal management
