JavaScript Engineer (2-4 Years Experience, Angular/React/NestJS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on medium features (e.g. authentication module)
• ▹Work in 2-week sprints using Scrum and JIRA
• ▹Do regular code reviews
• ▹Create architecture for medium features (e.g. authentication module, payment module)
• ▹Break medium features into manageable tasks and estimate small and medium tasks
• ▹Write specifications and document features
• ▹Make technical decisions and motivate them with factual data

Requirements

• ▹2-4 years of using frontend/JavaScript technologies on the client side; examples of implemented projects are a plus
• ▹Solid knowledge of OOP, with a good understanding of its concepts and applicability
• ▹Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+) and a CSS preprocessor (LESS/SASS/SCSS)
• ▹Proven experience with at least one top-tier JS framework (Angular, React, NestJS, etc.)
• ▹Mobile-first/responsive development and experience with a grid system (Bootstrap, Material, CSS grid layout)
• ▹Strong understanding of browser internals, HTTP and CORS
• ▹Debugging and page/app optimization abilities (page load, memory, rendering, etc.)
• ▹Experience with web services, especially RESTful
• ▹Undergraduate/graduate of Computer Science or similar

Nice to have

• ▹Reactive programming, Webpack (or other build tools), accessibility, animations
• ▹Relevant experience working with databases: SQL/Postgres/noSQL, a JS ORM framework
• ▹A big plus: native mobile application development experience on iOS/Android using React Native
