Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Guide and steer technically complex initiatives (e.g. central API platform, Data Hub, Tax Engine) across the comrce group
• ▹Identify technical dependencies, assess refactoring needs and trade-offs regarding scalability, maintainability, and ROI
• ▹Consolidate and modularize the tool and interface landscape, identify cross-product components
• ▹Bring technical perspective into GitLab backlog management, coordinate technical milestones across teams and products
• ▹Guide releases and beta phases from a technical perspective, addressing quality, dependencies, and risks early
• ▹Act as the interface between development, product, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• ▹Guide the expansion of Co-Pilot and AI features, evaluate new platform capabilities (Billbee, Replyco, Amainvoice, VentoryOne)

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or coordination-focused Senior Software Engineer, ideally in a SaaS or e-commerce environment
• ▹Experience with GitLab or comparable tools, understanding of how technical teams collaborate
• ▹Solid understanding of API architectures, OAuth flows, plugin systems, integration architectures, cloud infrastructure, DevOps principles, microservices, and modern web architectures
• ▹Ability to evaluate technical concepts and translate them into concrete requirements
• ▹Ability to identify technical dependencies and assess risks soundly
