Responsibilities

• ▹Support the IT Operations team in optimizing and managing performance of application operations
• ▹Work with databases, servers, applications, and monitoring/alerting systems
• ▹Contribute to planning the overall infrastructure and application operations strategy
• ▹Evaluate complex system landscapes from application to hardware
• ▹Act as point of contact for internal stakeholders, external developers, and technical partners
• ▹Support audits and assessments, prepare technical information in a structured way

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science or business informatics, IT systems training, or comparable qualification
• ▹Relevant professional experience planning, operating, and optimizing complex application environments
• ▹Knowledge of database servers (MS SQL, Postgres, MariaDB) and web servers (IIS, Apache)
• ▹Experience with reverse proxies (HAProxy, Nginx) and hosting distributed applications
• ▹Understanding of technical relationships from application through operating systems and infrastructure to hardware
• ▹Security-first mindset
• ▹Structured, solution-oriented, independent way of working
• ▹Fluent German and confident English
• ▹Willingness to participate in on-call duty rotation
