Responsibilities

• ▹Build and scale end-to-end production systems for a complex B2B product
• ▹Own features from conception through launch and iteration
• ▹Work directly with stakeholders to understand problems and drive solutions
• ▹Build shared abstractions and experiences that make complex products intuitive
• ▹Raise the engineering bar through excellent code, thoughtful reviews and clear communication

Requirements

• ▹Strong fundamentals: can trace requests from UI to data store and make good technical decisions at every layer
• ▹High agency: background as a founder, engineering lead or startup builder, with a builder's mindset and creative ways to ship
• ▹Pragmatism: choose the fewest and simplest tools that will actually work
• ▹Craft: care deeply about code quality and write bug-free, easily understandable code
• ▹Clear, direct, persuasive communication across technical and non-technical audiences
• ▹Growth trajectory: operating above your level and growing fast
• ▹Experience building complex B2B products, ideally from scratch
• ▹Familiarity with the tech stack or ability to learn quickly: TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, GCP, BigQuery, MongoDB, Postgres, GitHub Actions, Datadog
• ▹Based in the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM) to align with team working hours
