Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack for AI Products

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, evolve and scale distributed systems and microservices with maintainability and stability in mind
• ▹Actively shape core features and technical foundations of a cloud-based SaaS product
• ▹Develop data models, structure databases and optimize access for performance and scalability
• ▹Build performant APIs and modern frontends, from backend to user interface
• ▹Evolve existing systems and deliberately reduce technical debt
• ▹Design applications so they remain stable, observable and efficient to operate as usage grows
• ▹Work closely with the PO and UX, make technical decisions transparent and develop the team through your experience

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience developing complex software systems, ideally in a SaaS/cloud environment
• ▹Very good knowledge of software architecture for distributed systems and scalable applications
• ▹Solid practice with microservices, API design and modern backend architectures
• ▹Experience with Node.js and TypeScript, ideally frameworks such as NestJS
• ▹Frontend experience, e.g. with Vue.js, and a good understanding of full-stack relationships
• ▹Solid knowledge of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), data modeling and performance optimization
• ▹Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and operating SaaS applications
• ▹Confident use of clean code, design patterns and structured software development
• ▹Communication skills and the ability to make and explain technical decisions
• ▹Experience in agile teams and a strong quality mindset
• ▹Completed degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification
• ▹Excellent communication skills in German and English, spoken and written
