Responsibilities

• ▹Grow and manage the team of data scientists, data and ML engineers and analysts that owns the entire bidding algorithm
• ▹Work on data science tasks yourself, own critical procedures such as experiments and implementation details, and mentor data scientists in advanced modeling, programming quality and strategic thinking
• ▹Align with the adjoe Ads product team and Cloud Infrastructure on priorities, tools and best practices
• ▹Contribute to the long-term strategy and quarterly OKRs

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in data science, 2+ in leadership
• ▹Track record of architecting and deploying ML solutions, recommender systems and neural networks
• ▹Experience leading data science teams through hiring, mentoring, regular 1-1s and career development
• ▹Experience with large, diverse data sources (AWS Athena, Kafka, Spark, Flink, S3, MySQL)
• ▹Strong Python
• ▹Deep mathematical foundations and the ability to translate model behavior into clear business decisions

Nice to have

• ▹Experience building an MLOps stack with Airflow, Spark or Flink
