Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Process Jira tickets for data model extensions, database-related programming, ETL process adjustments (biGenius tool), versioning in GitHub, automation specifications, module testing
• ▹Perform general system integration tests (providing test data, monitoring job chains)
• ▹Create new interfaces and maintain existing ones
• ▹Support, contribute to, and test upgrades and migrations of interfaces and their databases
• ▹Support/maintain data delivery processes to downstream systems
• ▹Process incidents and create changes, e.g., for releases
• ▹Take on regular early and late shifts and on-call duties at month-end

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or comparable training
• ▹Very good knowledge of PL/SQL (at least experienced level)
• ▹Very good database knowledge of Oracle
• ▹Confident use of build pipeline tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
• ▹Experience operating data warehouse systems
• ▹Very good English skills, level B1
• ▹Willingness to work early and late shifts
• ▹Experience working in agile environments
• ▹Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• ▹Independent, team-oriented way of working
• ▹Strong communication skills and a high level of customer orientation

Nice to have

• ▹Several years of professional experience
• ▹Knowledge of the Lua and Python programming languages
• ▹Knowledge of the Exasol database
• ▹Confident handling of automation processes
• ▹Knowledge of an ETL tool
• ▹Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS-based data components (e.g., Glue), IaaS, and containers
• ▹Experience with PyCharm, Visual Studio Code
• ▹Experience with Confluence, Jira
• ▹German language skills
