Technical Systems Administrator – Rewards Systems (Fixed-term)

A 3-year fixed-term role at Roche responsible for administering and optimizing Payroll, Time and Benefits (Rewards) systems, driving automated solutions, process improvements and system integrations across the global technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of ambiguous, unowned tasks and drive small-to-medium initiatives at project or squad level
  • Challenge the status quo, and design and implement automated system solutions, integrations and process improvements
  • Prioritize effectively with stakeholders and maintain a big-picture view aligning technical components with broader product goals
  • Mentor team members, align development with global strategy, and share knowledge through talks and internal events
  • Shape technical decisions and lead cross-functional teams at the product or site level
  • Support and optimize rewards systems through process analysis, interface implementation, testing/QA, incident management, configuration and technical consulting

Requirements

  • Proven track record of owning ambiguous tasks and driving small-to-medium projects
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to solve complex issues
  • Deep knowledge of the broader technical landscape, with expertise designing automated solutions, integrations and optimized configurations
  • Strong analytical skills to streamline business processes and develop comprehensive test strategies and plans
  • Experience acting as a technical mentor, driving internal knowledge-sharing events
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder priorities and align technical decisions with business goals
