Senior Risk & Compliance Engineer - Data

Responsibilities

• ▹Builds automated signal ingestion pipelines pulling real-time data from security tooling, normalizing and scoring findings
• ▹Develops probabilistic risk models expressing security exposure as probability distributions
• ▹Identifies systemic choke points across the attack surface and prioritizes high-impact remediations
• ▹Builds dashboards and data-driven insights for security, engineering, and executive stakeholders
• ▹Supports risk quantification in financial terms for investment decisions and board reporting

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of data engineering experience, writing production-level code in Python and SQL (PostgreSQL, Presto, or SparkSQL)
• ▹3+ years building and deploying ML or probabilistic models (e.g., Bayesian models) in production
• ▹Experience building real-time/near-real-time data pipelines with stream and batch processing
• ▹Experience with data modeling for classification, normalization, and anomaly detection
• ▹Experience developing metrics that inform security and business decisions

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with security risk concepts like threat intelligence enrichment, EPSS, or CISA KEV
• ▹Familiarity with quantitative risk frameworks such as FAIR
• ▹Exposure to security frameworks like NIST CSF, SOC 2
• ▹Demonstrated ability to translate risk model outputs into executive/board-level narratives
