Master's Thesis: UX Design for AI-Powered Digital Twins

Responsibilities

• ▹Literature and tool research on user guidance, human-AI interaction, Explainable AI and digital twin design
• ▹Analyzing the existing OFacT prototype in terms of user guidance, comprehensibility, transparency and usability
• ▹Identifying relevant user roles, usage scenarios and decision points
• ▹Developing a user-guidance concept for model generation, scenario analysis and model adaptation
• ▹Designing wireframes, user flows and interaction concepts
• ▹Evaluating the concept against a practical Industry 4.0 use case

Requirements

• ▹Currently enrolled in a master's program in computer science, business informatics, HCI, UX design, interaction design, media informatics or a comparable field
• ▹Interest in user-centered design, digital twins, Industry 4.0 and AI-supported systems
• ▹First experience with UX methods (user flows, wireframes, personas, journey maps, usability analysis)
• ▹Ability to work independently on scientific work, analytical and solution-oriented approach
• ▹Good spoken and written German and English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe XD or Balsamiq
