Student Assistant – Backend Development of Security/Hacking Tools (Java)

Fraunhofer SIT's Secure Software Engineering group is looking for a student assistant with Java skills to develop the backend of security analysis tools. Prior IT security knowledge is not required, but solid Java development skills are.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Further developing the backend of existing, innovative security analysis tools in Java
  • Implementing backend functionality of a vulnerability scanner in an agile development process

Requirements

  • Computer science studies with practical Java development experience
  • Creativity, self-motivation and enthusiasm
  • Very good programming skills
  • Project experience in software development

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of static program analysis (e.g. Soot or similar frameworks)
