Senior Python Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the transaction monitoring part of the Crystal platform
• ▹Improve stability and observability of owned services
• ▹Maintain code to high quality standards
• ▹Design and implement features end-to-end
• ▹Code, debug, test and continuously deliver features and improvements
• ▹Provide code reviews, assistance and constructive feedback to teammates
• ▹Optimize performance, including database queries

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of commercial experience building Python backend services and web APIs
• ▹Solid software architecture skills
• ▹Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data architecture, including PostgreSQL
• ▹Knowledge of testing principles at different levels of the system
• ▹Experience developing client-facing solutions
• ▹Experience with distributed systems
• ▹Product-oriented mindset
• ▹Proficiency in English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with scalability and performance optimization of large distributed systems
• ▹Experience with systems operating on large data volumes
• ▹Experience with the Flask framework
• ▹Passion for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies
