SAP Integration Architect – SAP on Azure (Internal)

Responsibilities

• ▹Concept, design and implementation of SAP-on-Azure architectures
• ▹Taking full technical responsibility for integration and migration scenarios in complex system landscapes
• ▹Architectural guidance and sustainable design of transformation projects based on Microsoft Azure
• ▹Integrating demanding SAP system landscapes (e.g. S/4HANA, SAP Basis, hybrid architectures) into modern cloud environments
• ▹Advising clients at architecture and strategy level
• ▹Close coordination with infrastructure, network, security and SAP teams
• ▹Ensuring performance, availability and security for SAP workloads in the cloud

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as an SAP Architect, SAP Basis Architect or Integration Architect
• ▹Solid project experience with SAP on Azure, having not just designed but successfully implemented such environments
• ▹Understanding of the Microsoft world (Azure infrastructure, identity, networking, governance), ideally Microsoft-certified
• ▹Enterprise-level architectural thinking
• ▹In-depth knowledge of the SAP world (SAP Basis, HANA, S/4HANA, operating models)
• ▹Confident communication in German and English

Nice to have

• ▹Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to confidently navigate both cloud worlds
• ▹Ability to mediate confidently between Microsoft, SAP and infrastructure teams
