(Senior) Technical Product Manager – APIs & Payments

The company is looking for a Technical Product Manager responsible for evolving its API landscape, Stripe-based payment processes and partner systems. The role works closely with developers, partners and internal stakeholders, actively shaping how the platform grows technically.

Responsibilities

  • Owning REST API product development to ensure it is optimally usable for partners and integrators
  • Steering the evolution of Stripe-based payment processes, from optimizing existing flows to introducing new payment methods
  • Driving the development of partner and admin interfaces, the core tools partners and the internal team use daily
  • Acting as the point of contact for customers and partners integrating with the API, translating their needs into actionable features
  • Prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog in close alignment with the Head of Product and senior developers
  • Working closely with key account management, project leads and the development team
  • Independently leading projects within your area of responsibility
  • Keeping an overview of the technical product landscape and identifying optimization potential

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management, ideally with a technical focus
  • Understanding of REST APIs and webhooks, able to read API documentation, define use cases, and talk to developers as a peer
  • Experience working with payment providers (Stripe, Adyen or similar) and understanding of payment process complexity
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or platform environments, understanding multi-stakeholder dynamics
  • Routine use of Jira or comparable project management tools
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot
  • Clear, independent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Specific Stripe experience (Billing, Connect, Payment Intents)
  • Experience with multi-tenant architectures or white-label platforms
  • Technical background (e.g. former developer or technical degree)
  • Experience with API design and developer experience (DX)
  • Experience in the automotive or mobility sector
