Data Science Manager – GTM Sales

Responsibilities

• ▹Coach four data scientists owning the analytical backbone of Canva's B2B Sales and CS teams
• ▹Set the team's priorities and roadmap in partnership with Sales, CS, Marketing, and RevOps leaders
• ▹Lead the analytical roadmap for the biggest GTM bets: pipeline generation, full-funnel reporting, opportunity and account health scoring, sales forecasting, and a product-led sales motion
• ▹Raise the bar on craft, moving the team from ad-hoc analysis to productionized models, semantic layers, and durable data products
• ▹Champion the team's use of AI to scale impact, automating signal-based actions and building self-serve analytics
• ▹Represent the team's work to senior stakeholders in QBRs and forecast reviews
• ▹Grow each coachee through feedback and stretch opportunities

Requirements

• ▹Multiple years of data science or analytics experience in a B2B SaaS, growth, or GTM context, plus coaching or formal team leadership experience
• ▹Strong technical foundation in SQL (Snowflake or equivalent), data modeling (dbt or equivalent), and a modern BI tool (Mode, Looker, or similar)
• ▹Track record of shipping data products that materially changed how a Sales or CS org operated (account/opportunity scoring, forecasting, pipeline analytics, health scoring)
• ▹Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly for business decisions with senior commercial leaders
• ▹Genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping data and analytics work
• ▹Genuine coaching mindset and interest in growing data scientists
