IT Application Manager

TKMS is looking for an IT Application Manager who acts as the primary point of contact for the business on complex process and system questions, while also leading and coordinating medium-sized IT projects from the business side. The role spans shaping application architecture through to training and access-rights management.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support the business on demanding process or system questions as the primary point of contact
  • Lead/coordinate medium-sized project teams and external service providers from a business perspective, and coordinate and steer collaboration on a medium-sized IT project
  • Coordinate individual measures and plan or implement moderately complex software or organizational projects in business-critical functional areas
  • Define and introduce new methods/procedures
  • Carry out inventory analyses as the basis for the resulting requirements gathering, acting as the IT interface to the business departments
  • Support and prepare decisions on the architecture of application landscapes
  • Set up training and access-rights management
  • Identify and plan necessary improvement measures in close coordination with the business department

Requirements

  • University degree in business informatics or an equivalent qualification acquired another way
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field
  • Fluent German and very good English, written and spoken
  • Several years of demonstrable experience in the IT environment of central functions (e.g. communications, HR, legal), with a proven ability to manage and optimize various enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics platforms
  • Experience with various SAP modules and interface tools for central functions (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, legal management solutions, compliance solutions)
  • Understanding of application architectures
  • Basic knowledge of on-premise, hybrid and SaaS solutions and their integration
  • Cooperative work with project teams, business departments and external service providers
  • Proactive advice and support for business departments, fast handling of requests and delivery of training
  • Flexibility for regular business travel to sites, customers or partners (domestic and international)
