Responsibilities

• ▹Keep Kubernetes platforms operational (run and maintain)
• ▹Deploy Kubernetes clusters
• ▹Deploy applications on the clusters
• ▹Handle incidents and requests related to the platforms
• ▹Work jointly with systems engineers on the infrastructure components underlying the Kubernetes platforms (HP servers, ESX, Ubuntu and Windows VMs, load balancer)
• ▹Maintain advanced monitoring of the infrastructure and applications
• ▹Manage capacity planning for the platforms
• ▹Automate updates using Ansible
• ▹Carry out monthly, half-yearly and annual updates
• ▹Produce documentation
• ▹Contribute to the team's skills development

Requirements

• ▹Ability to maintain 50 clusters (test/QA/production)
• ▹Knowledge of containerization: Kubernetes, Docker
• ▹Knowledge of Rancher, Grafana, Velero, LongHorn modules
• ▹Knowledge of ESX virtualization (20 servers)
• ▹Knowledge of Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems
• ▹Organizational and prioritization skills within a team
• ▹Good written communication
• ▹Excellent interpersonal skills
• ▹Autonomy and rigor
• ▹Personal vehicle
