(Senior) Consultant - Cloud & Data Center Transformation & Sovereignty (Financial Services)

Responsibilities

• ▹Support migration planning and execution: dependency remediation, data relocation and refactoring, post-migration validation, and use of EY migration accelerators and playbooks
• ▹Contribute to analyzing existing IT and data center landscapes
• ▹Define sovereignty requirements: workload and data sovereignty assessments, vendor and cloud archetype assessments, piloting and validation
• ▹Support the design of sovereign landing zones: data residency and encryption architectures, identity and access management, logging, monitoring and auditability concepts (SOC integration)
• ▹Contribute to analyzing regulatory requirements (DORA, BAIT, EBA, BaFin) and developing sovereign operating models and re-platforming concepts
• ▹Support the development of IT infrastructure and data center strategies aligned with regulatory, compliance, resilience and supervisory requirements, as well as AI infrastructure planning

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, economics, mathematics or a comparable field
• ▹Initial knowledge of cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), IT infrastructure or data center management
• ▹German at least C1 level and good English communication skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with sovereign cloud providers, encryption, IAM concepts or infrastructure strategy frameworks
