Senior Security Engineer (Cloud)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect and maintain cloud environments built for security, resilience, and performance
• ▹Partner hands-on with the Developer Platform team to embed security into developer tooling
• ▹Design and enforce identity and access strategies with the IAM team
• ▹Harden cloud platforms against emerging threats
• ▹Build automation, pipelines, and guardrails using Terraform/IaC and Kubernetes
• ▹Help secure infrastructure behind AI-driven pipelines and agentic workflows
• ▹Translate security requirements into practical, adoptable designs for other teams
• ▹Assist in incident response investigations

Requirements

• ▹Strong, hands-on GCP administrative experience (must-have)
• ▹Solid DevOps background: Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Staff-level experience architecting and securing complex multi-cloud environments
• ▹Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• ▹Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AWS and/or Azure
• ▹Familiarity with software supply chain security, particularly SLSA
• ▹Experience securing AI/ML infrastructure or agentic workflows
• ▹Prior experience at a fast-moving or late-stage startup
