Senior Consulting Engineer - Singapore

Responsibilities

• ▹Participate in customer projects covering design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation
• ▹Provide case-initiated consultative support for implementation, onboarding, production launches, and POCs
• ▹Offer architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on work
• ▹Handle L1–L3 support cases when not assigned to customer projects
• ▹Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales on the product roadmap
• ▹Develop documentation, knowledge base articles, reference architectures, and benchmark content
• ▹Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Account Management, Engineering/SRE, or Project Management
• ▹5+ years of industry experience implementing, operating, or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant distributed database systems (DBMS)
• ▹Technical breadth in DBMS, OLAP, cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, Linux/Unix, and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience leading large-scope technical projects with experienced engineers
• ▹Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its infrastructure-as-a-service offerings

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with ClickHouse
• ▹Experience with open-source technologies as a user, community member, or contributor
• ▹Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS
• ▹Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ
