Principal Solutions Architect (East Coast or Central)

Responsibilities

• ▹Accelerate customers' container and AI journeys with cross-functional Docker teams
• ▹Gather customer technical/business goals and challenges
• ▹Create and manage engagement plans spanning existing and new Docker offerings
• ▹Oversee "design partner" rapid prototyping engagements with engineering
• ▹Create/manage custom demos and content aligned to use cases
• ▹Deliver enablement and best-practice content from developer to C-level
• ▹Act as thought leader for an area of responsibility, creating/managing content
• ▹Gather field feedback from customers and pre/post sales teams
• ▹Coordinate with Field CTO and other Solutions Architects on prioritization
• ▹Work with product/engineering on workflow and feature alignment
• ▹Serve as "customer zero" for new functionality
• ▹Support internal and customer enablement content and sales enablement

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as Sales/Solutions Engineer or Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments
• ▹Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management
• ▹Experience managing customer relationships at technical and business level
• ▹Experience presenting solutions/demos to small and large audiences
• ▹Experience interfacing with internal product/engineering/support teams
• ▹Application development experience and understanding of developer challenges
• ▹Ability to solve technical problems and translate feedback for engineering
• ▹Experience developing best-practice adoption collateral
• ▹Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, modern app architectures
• ▹Experience with Docker or container ecosystems strongly preferred
• ▹Agentic AI dev, SDLC, and/or software supply chain security experience preferred
• ▹Must be fluent in English
• ▹Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
