We are looking for an experienced PL1 developer to develop and enhance existing PL1 modules for Output Management Systems (OMS), someone who communicates confidently in German with business stakeholders.

▹Developing and enhancing existing PL1 modules for Output Management Systems (OMS)
▹Conducting code and business analysis to implement code refactoring and increase module resilience
▹Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to discuss requirements and address bugs or issues
▹Participating in requirement engineering to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of business needs
▹Contributing to the architecture and design of output management solutions, ensuring scalability and efficiency

Requirements

▹Profound development experience in PL1
▹Extensive experience with Output Management Systems, including architecture and design
▹Strong expertise in requirement engineering
▹Deep knowledge of IBM DB2, WebSphere MQ, and XML
▹Profound experience with the Allianz Business System (ABS)
▹Fluent German language skills for effective communication with business stakeholders
▹Willingness to travel to Munich for Tribe Days and other occasions such as workshops with business stakeholders

Nice to have

▹Java skills or experience with another object-oriented language, as a migration from PL1 to Java is planned in the coming years
