Software Engineer – Input Management Systems

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop scalable software components using C#, .NET, and Java (ideally Java 21)
• ▹Translate business requirements into maintainable, testable code
• ▹Contribute to generative AI solutions and integration layers (APIs, data pipelines)
• ▹Collaborate within an agile team and mentor junior developers
• ▹Identify opportunities to improve performance, security, and maintainability across systems, and support the continuous improvement of engineering standards, methods, and tools

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science or a related field, and at least 5 years of software development experience
• ▹Solid knowledge of C#, .NET, Java (ideally Java 21), and databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle DB)
• ▹Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, and web technologies required
• ▹Experience with agile methods and strong analytical problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with or interest in input-management solutions (e.g. SmartFix, Paradatec AIDA/Prokey, OpenText Capture)
• ▹Very good English and good German skills
