Dual Study Program Business Information Systems (B.Sc.) DHBW - Application Management - 2026

The Brose Group offers a dual study program in business information systems starting October 1st, with a focus on application management. Practical phases take place in Bamberg in the central IT department, with theoretical phases at the Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. After graduation, students move into an IT in-house consultant role across various SAP areas.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how modern IT solutions are planned, developed, and deployed
  • Get exposure to digitalization, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence both in studies and in practice
  • Actively contribute to IT and digitalization projects in the SAP environment, e.g. HR, logistics, finance, or business processes
  • Analyze, design, and optimize IT-supported business processes
  • Support the operation, further development, and rollout of central enterprise applications
  • Get insights into future topics: automation, data integration, cloud solutions, interface development, and data analysis
  • Work closely with international departments and global IT teams
  • Write a bachelor's thesis on a topic in digital business processes or IT systems

Requirements

  • High school diploma (Abitur), subject-restricted university entrance qualification, or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification (with the university's separate aptitude assessment)
  • Enthusiasm for IT, digital technologies, and modern enterprise software
  • Interest in business processes and data-driven decision-making
  • Affinity for analytical, structured work and solving complex problems
  • Team spirit, initiative, and openness to learning new topics and technologies
  • Communication skills and willingness to work with international departments
