Responsibilities

▹Build and develop robust software architectures, influencing team development processes and methodologies
▹Develop software components in an Android environment for medical products using architectural patterns, strong object-oriented principles, and automated testing
▹Own software implementation ensuring it is modular, testable, reusable and maintainable
▹Participate in formal documentation of requirements, software architecture and detailed builds
▹Analyze product requirements and derive software requirements
▹Identify key product-level technical risks and assist project managers with mitigation plans
▹Review work products and ensure quality of deliverables
▹Apply SDLC principles and Lean/Agile/XP methodologies, software and product security, and scalability practices

Requirements

▹Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years in software engineering and 2+ years developing Android applications
▹Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, with familiarity in JavaScript/TypeScript and C++ for embedded/firmware
▹Hands-on experience with Android SDK, NDK, Android Studio, and strong understanding of Android architecture, components and security
▹Background in regulated industries preferred, especially medical devices with exposure to IEC 62304
▹Strong software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, TDD and CI/CD familiarity
▹Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira, and version control systems such as Git or SVN
▹Proven track record of delivering technical solutions and working with cross-functional and multisite teams
