Global OT Service and Security Team Leader

At thyssenkrupp's Jászfényszaru plant, as leader of the Global OT Service and Security Team you will lead administrators and engineers, manage OT infrastructure and services, and ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and organize the daily work and resource allocation for designated Administrators and Engineers within the Global OT Service and Security Team
  • Develop, support, implement and enforce standards, guidelines and procedures related to OT services defined in the Qualification and Responsibility Matrix
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the OT/IT infrastructure and related support processes and contribute to operational and development improvements
  • Manage OT-related infrastructure and services
  • Ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443) and local manufacturing safety protocols
  • Support the achievement of team, departmental and company objectives while ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Cooperate closely with local OT and IT teams, suppliers, end users and management
  • Provide regular operational reports and updates to stakeholders as required
  • Participate in annual budget planning and controlling activities
  • Act as L3/Escalation point for critical OT security incidents and operational outages across global sites
  • Support the on-call service and act as an escalation contact when required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity, or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Detailed knowledge of IT and OT infrastructures, including computer networks, operating systems and cloud-based technologies
  • Knowledge of OT systems such as PLC, SCADA, IoT and MES environments
  • Deep understanding of industrial security frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST) and OT network segmentation (Purdue Model)
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and support a technical team
  • Structured and quality-focused working style with strong documentation skills
  • Professional English language skills, both written and spoken
  • A collaborative mindset and strong team spirit
  • Ability to understand complex systems and processes
  • High level of professionalism, reliability and discretion when working with sensitive business information
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support and support critical situations when required

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion, HCL BigFix, Trellix EDR and Microsoft Defender solutions
