Server Operations Engineer (Szeged)

Responsibilities

• ▹Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain clients' on-premise, private Windows server environments at L2 level
• ▹Prepare, review, and update technical documentation
• ▹Maintain complete, up-to-date administration of completed work per company regulations (time tracking, ticketing system, system documentation)
• ▹Provide L2-level support for highly available, scalable VMware and/or Hyper-V systems running on server and blade hosts
• ▹Provide L2-level support for storage systems
• ▹Analyze and resolve L2-level operational and performance issues

Requirements

• ▹At least 3-5 years of experience in operating complex server systems
• ▹Knowledge of virtualization technology (VMware, Hyper-V)
• ▹Knowledge of server and storage technology
• ▹Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, customer orientation
• ▹High-level documentation skills
• ▹Knowledge of the ITIL methodology
• ▹Intermediate-level English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with manufacturing-support environments
