Senior Cybersecurity Consultant (Technical Focus)

Responsibilities

• ▹Actively participate in designing, developing and optimizing clients' cybersecurity architecture
• ▹Analyze system and application security risks, attack vectors and vulnerabilities
• ▹Design protection for cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, implementing hardening strategies
• ▹Support red teaming and penetration testing projects, developing attack and defense strategies
• ▹Assess client needs and ensure compliance with IT security standards and frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, SOC2)
• ▹Develop security monitoring and incident management processes, implement and configure SIEM solutions
• ▹Provide expert advice on the latest security threats and technology trends
• ▹Collaborate closely with other experts and teams in an international environment

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT security, ideally in a consulting or technical role
• ▹In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, endpoint protection and encryption technologies
• ▹Familiarity with various information security frameworks (e.g. OWASP, NIST, CIS)
• ▹Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability management and security audits
• ▹Cloud security experience (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and knowledge of DevSecOps solutions
• ▹Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ▹A recognized IT security certification (e.g. CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CISM, CISA, CCSP)
• ▹Knowledge of German
