Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the ongoing development of life-saving and life-quality-improving medical devices (e.g. dialysis machines)
• ▹Learn and apply product development processes and testing technologies
• ▹Verify and test the development outcomes of medical devices
• ▹Learn manual test environments and implement tests
• ▹Continuously maintain manual tests
• ▹Prepare test documentation
• ▹Record and document defect tickets

Requirements

• ▹Degree in biomedical engineering, computer science or electrical engineering (BSc/MSc/PhD)
• ▹At least 3 years of experience in software testing (writing test cases, manual and/or automated execution)
• ▹Basic knowledge of GIT
• ▹ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or higher)
• ▹Daily contact with colleagues abroad
• ▹Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week, with occasional home office (max. 1 day/month)

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of agile methodologies
• ▹Experience testing or developing safety-critical systems
• ▹Experience in a Technical Lead or Test Manager role
• ▹Test automation experience
• ▹Basic programming knowledge (e.g. C, Python)
• ▹Experience with embedded systems
• ▹Familiarity with Jenkins, JIRA, Gherkin, Doors and Robot Framework
• ▹Security testing experience
