IT Application Expert (all genders)

Your role:

In this role, you will take ownership of the daily operations, system configuration, and user rights management for our specialized Intellectual Property (IP) applications. Acting as the vital bridge between business users, internal IT, and external vendors, you will provide first-line technical and procedural support, perform software testing, and ensure our systems adhere to top-tier data security standards. Beyond day-to-day application management, you will dive into project work by owning specific sub-projects, translating business needs into clear technical requirements, and building master-level Excel reports and KPIs from raw datasets. As a key facilitator of knowledge, you will also document interfaces and processes, and train diverse user groups to ensure seamless, company-wide system adoption.

Who you are:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a scientific/technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in application management, IT coordination, or technical system support.
• Proficient in SQL, relational databases, Cloud/SaaS environments, and basic scripting (such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript), with a strong bonus for experience working with APIs.
• Highly skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to clean complex datasets and design polished, management-ready reports and dashboards.
• Detail-oriented with strong systems thinking, comfortable managing competing priorities, drafting clear documentation, and taking the lead on sub-project deliverables.
• Experience working within the Intellectual Property (IP) field or with specialized IP management systems is considered a distinct advantage.
