Staff Engineer, Unit Process Development (f/m/div)

Responsibilities

• ▹Developing methods and processes for economical production of welded, sintered joints in power electronics for automotive and industrial semiconductors
• ▹Investigating multiple variables for process optimization, stabilization and quality improvement
• ▹Supporting further development of sintering, ultrasonic and laser-based welding processes in industrial series production
• ▹Actively contributing to KPI goals (e.g. Cpk, OEE, yield, customer complaints)
• ▹Preparing technical specifications for new non-standard equipment and machines
• ▹Coordinating technical content with potential manufacturers according to specifications

Requirements

• ▹University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field
• ▹At least 3 years of experience in process development in an industrial context (electronics, metallurgical or mechanical field)
• ▹Professional experience in assembly, connection and welding technology
• ▹Creativity in improving existing processes and developing new ones
• ▹Strong communication skills, methodic approach, project management mindset
• ▹Fluency in Hungarian and good command of English

• ▹Automotive industry experience
