Senior SAP Developer with focus on EWM

Senior SAP Developer for thyssenkrupp's Hungarian development center, focused primarily on ABAP development with a strong EWM focus. The role covers development, customization and maintenance of SAP applications in S/4HANA and ECC environments, complemented by Fiori/UI5, RAP and BTP technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Development, customization and maintenance of SAP applications (primarily ABAP, as well as Fiori/UI5, RAP and BTP)
  • Implementation of requirements from S/4HANA and ECC with a strong focus on EWM
  • Creation of custom code, reports, enhancements, user exits, BAdIs and forms
  • Development of SAP Fiori apps and UI5 interfaces following modern standards
  • Integration of SAP systems with external systems via IDoc, RFC, OData, SOAP and REST
  • Conducting code reviews, performance optimizations and debugging
  • Close collaboration with functional consultants, business analysts and stakeholders
  • Documentation of solutions, interfaces and technical specifications
  • Support during SAP migrations, upgrade projects and IFRS-related developments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 4-5 years of professional experience in SAP development, ideally with an S/4HANA focus
  • Good knowledge of ABAP, ABAP OO and modern ABAP features (7.40+, CDS Views, AMDP)
  • Experience with SAP EWM
  • Proficiency with SAP development tools (ADT, Eclipse, SE80, Git)
  • Good English skills in speaking and writing

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, RAP and SAP BTP
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM and SD
  • Knowledge of EDI and interface development
  • German language skills
