Applications engineer - FCD German speaking

Responsibilities

• ▹Prepare quotations by evaluating customer requirements and sizing, specifying, and pricing valves per customer specifications
• ▹Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations to support sales and booking growth
• ▹Prepare detailed, complete, and correct purchase order transfer files for manufacturing
• ▹Participate in bid clarification meetings with customers (international travel required)
• ▹Develop understanding of Flowserve product lines to enhance application engineering, quotation generation, and sales support

Requirements

• ▹BS or BA degree in a relevant field
• ▹Ideally one year of relevant experience
• ▹Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role (inside sales representative, engineer)
• ▹Good communication skills
• ▹Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking
• ▹SAP knowledge
• ▹Experience with common MS Office applications
