Applications Engineer (German Speaker)

Responsibilities

• ▹Prepare quotations by evaluating customer requirements and pumps according to specifications
• ▹Prepare technically sound, cost-effective quotations to support sales and bookings growth
• ▹Prepare detailed, correct purchase order transfer files for manufacturing operations
• ▹Participate in bid clarification meetings with customers (international travel required)
• ▹Develop deep understanding of Flowserve product lines to support application engineering, quotation generation and sales

Requirements

• ▹BS or BA degree in a relevant field
• ▹Ideally two years of relevant experience
• ▹Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role (e.g. Inside Sales Representative, Engineer)
• ▹Working proficiency in German and English
• ▹Good communication skills
• ▹Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking
• ▹SAP knowledge, experience with common MS Office applications
