Vice President, Analytics Specialist (Liquidity)

BlackRock's Analytics Product team empowers investment and risk management decision-making through industry-leading analytics. As a Liquidity Analytics Specialist, you will help shape the next generation of liquidity, security similarity, and pricing analytics at the intersection of markets, quantitative research, technology, and product management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, governance, deployment, and enhancement of liquidity analytics models across asset classes
  • Drive the analytics product lifecycle, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring successful deployment
  • Translate business and client needs into product requirements and scalable analytics solutions with engineering partners
  • Conduct analytical validation to ensure robust, reliable analytics outputs
  • Partner with clients, portfolio managers, and risk managers to communicate model capabilities
  • Improve team efficiency through automation and clear documentation
  • Mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years leading the end-to-end lifecycle of financial risk, liquidity, or analytics products
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with quants, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize competing demands
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a quantitative discipline
  • Technical aptitude with Linux, SQL, scripting, and programming languages such as Python
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
