IT Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Administering and fine-tuning monitoring systems (identity protection/IAM, endpoint and antivirus protection, perimeter defense)
• ▹Monitoring and log analysis: supporting the central SIEM system, integrating new log sources, investigating alerts
• ▹Vulnerability management and hardening: conducting external and internal vulnerability assessments, hardening systems, supporting patch management
• ▹Analyzing and documenting security incidents and drawing lessons learned
• ▹Contributing to internal security audits and advising on the security design of new IT investments

Requirements

• ▹Higher education degree in IT, or equivalent professional experience
• ▹At least 1-3 years of experience in IT security or systems/network engineering
• ▹Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and virtualization
• ▹Confident professional English and native-level Hungarian

Nice to have

• ▹Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• ▹Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹A basic security certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH), or activity on TryHackMe / HackTheBox
• ▹Interest in DevSecOps principles or the world of forensics
