Application Operations Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹operating clients' business applications
• ▹ensuring the expected service levels of the applications
• ▹handling incidents, requests, problems and changes related to applications, and monitoring
• ▹managing major upgrades, testing and rolling out new systems and developments
• ▹testing and publishing new releases

Requirements

• ▹minimum 3 years of application operations experience
• ▹SQL query-level knowledge
• ▹precise planning and documentation skills
• ▹knowledge of the ITIL methodology
• ▹basic knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure and networking

Nice to have

• ▹application operations experience in a containerized, microservice-based environment
• ▹working knowledge of middleware services provided by OpenShift
• ▹experience operating message queue and authentication platforms
• ▹knowledge of Linux and Windows Server infrastructure and networking
• ▹active, intermediate English
