Responsibilities

• ▹Supporting development planning
• ▹Implementing and documenting development
• ▹Preparing, organizing and conducting developer testing
• ▹Performing code reviews and writing unit tests to ensure code quality
• ▹Consulting and collaborating with participants in the development process
• ▹Bug fixing and root-cause analysis
• ▹Managing the developer integration environment
• ▹Supporting user acceptance testing

Requirements

• ▹At least 2-4 years of experience in Java backend development
• ▹Confident knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework
• ▹Experience designing and developing APIs and system integration solutions (REST, SOAP, message-based communication: IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• ▹Confident knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL)
• ▹Knowledge and consistent application of Clean Code principles
• ▹Testing experience (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
• ▹Proficiency with Git-based version control (feature branch workflow, pull-request-based collaboration)
• ▹Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker)
• ▹Independent, proactive problem-solving approach and openness to teamwork
• ▹Knowledge of microservice architecture
• ▹Basic Linux knowledge
• ▹At least intermediate English

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
• ▹Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• ▹Knowledge of application monitoring solutions (e.g. Dynatrace)
• ▹Knowledge of container orchestration platforms (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• ▹Experience in the financial or banking sector
• ▹Knowledge of development support tools (e.g. Bitbucket, SonarQube, Maven, Nexus)
• ▹Knowledge of Groovy
