Responsibilities

• ▹Own and evolve a multi-quarter IT roadmap tied to business goals
• ▹Set the tooling strategy and standards: what to adopt, consolidate and retire
• ▹Bring an AI-first, automate-first approach to IT operations (provisioning, access, support deflection, asset reconciliation)
• ▹Build and ship automations yourself and set an example for the team and the company
• ▹Surface AI tooling that makes employees' lives easier
• ▹Lead, grow and mature the IT team and raise its technical bar
• ▹Stay hands-on with scripting, automation, and MDM and identity configuration
• ▹Build the operating rhythm (SLAs, runbooks, prioritisation)
• ▹Own the international device fleet and lifecycle end to end, from procurement to retirement, across multiple countries
• ▹Run identity, access and endpoint management reliably for a distributed workforce
• ▹Manage the Barcelona hub's on-site technology: office network, meeting-room AV and video conferencing
• ▹Own the IT services behind company off-sites and events
• ▹Treat IT's own security and compliance hygiene as a core principle (endpoint compliance, identity hygiene, least privilege)
• ▹Gain visibility into IT, SaaS and software spend, and help Finance forecast and plan it
• ▹Partner with Finance and Procurement on contracts, renewals and vendor rationalisation
• ▹Eliminate shadow IT, consolidate overlapping tools and negotiate from data
• ▹Build dashboards and reports on IT health, spend and initiative status
• ▹Manage and influence C-level stakeholders directly

Requirements

• ▹10+ years leading and growing IT teams or functions in a fast-scaling technology or SaaS company
• ▹Strategy and hands-on skills together: scripting, automation, configuring MDM and identity systems
• ▹Deep experience with international fleet and device management, identity and endpoint management (e.g. Jamf, Okta or equivalents)
• ▹Strong command of SaaS and software spend management and FinOps, working with Finance
• ▹AI-first, automate-first mindset: has used AI to remove toil
• ▹Proven ability to manage and influence senior, C-level stakeholders
• ▹Data-driven approach based on dashboards and reporting
• ▹Treats IT's own security and compliance hygiene as non-negotiable
• ▹Professional fluency in English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in a remote-first or globally distributed company
• ▹Familiarity with a modern cloud, identity and endpoint stack (e.g. GCP, AWS, Okta, Jamf, Jira, Confluence, Slack)
• ▹Track record of maturing an early-stage IT function into a structured, senior team
• ▹Hands-on experience with office IT: on-site networking, meeting-room AV, video conferencing and event technology
