Technical Manager/Sr. Manager, Private Equity

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead end-to-end technology due diligence engagements across private equity transactions
• ▹Evaluate IT systems, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data environments, packaged software, and technical talent
• ▹Identify and assess scalability issues, technical debt, architectural risks, and operational deficiencies
• ▹Translate complex technical findings into clear business implications for investors and executives
• ▹Advise deal teams on risk mitigation, value creation opportunities, and post-transaction integration strategies
• ▹Build trusted relationships with private equity stakeholders
• ▹Mentor and guide consultants to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent engagements
• ▹Partner with leadership to develop new service offerings and improve delivery methodologies
• ▹Contribute to client relationship management and thought leadership initiatives

Requirements

• ▹BS or MS/MBA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ▹Background as a software engineer or infrastructure engineer
• ▹Deep expertise in at least three of: Data & AI, Custom Software, Packaged Software, Infrastructure, Tech Talent & Org Structure
• ▹Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent priorities
• ▹Demonstrated experience influencing without direct authority and collaborating across teams

Nice to have

• ▹Experience leading technology due diligence in M&A transactions; private equity exposure strongly preferred
• ▹Prior leadership experience managing teams in high-volume, client-facing environments
• ▹Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts into business terms
