Responsibilities

▹Lead end-to-end technology due diligence engagements across private equity transactions
▹Evaluate IT systems, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, data environments, packaged software, and technical talent
▹Identify and assess scalability issues, technical debt, architectural risks, and operational deficiencies
▹Translate complex technical findings into clear business implications for investors and executives
▹Advise deal teams on risk mitigation, value creation opportunities, and post-transaction integration strategies
▹Build trusted relationships with private equity stakeholders
▹Mentor and guide consultants to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent engagements
▹Partner with leadership to develop new service offerings and improve delivery methodologies
▹Contribute to client relationship management and thought leadership initiatives

Requirements

▹BS or MS/MBA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
▹Background as a software engineer or infrastructure engineer
▹Deep expertise in at least three of: Data & AI, Custom Software, Packaged Software, Infrastructure, Tech Talent & Org Structure
▹Strong organizational skills managing multiple concurrent priorities
▹Demonstrated experience influencing without direct authority and collaborating across teams

Nice to have

▹Experience leading technology due diligence in M&A transactions; private equity exposure strongly preferred
▹Prior leadership experience managing teams in high-volume, client-facing environments
▹Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts into business terms
