Senior Software Engineer, Developer Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate on key areas of the Developer Platform, contributing to technical implementation
• ▹Improve the speed, reliability, and developer experience of the monorepo CI/CD pipeline
• ▹Help productionize the Agentic AI platform (DriftlessAF): agent observability, RAG, and context-engineering patterns
• ▹Partner with the team to consolidate fragmented build systems and deliver standardized "paved road" blueprints
• ▹Partner with engineers across the company to identify toil and automate repetitive manual work
• ▹Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to engineering velocity and operational excellence

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of experience building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments
• ▹Proficiency with Go (Golang), or strong readiness to ramp quickly
• ▹Experience with CI/CD systems, container-based orchestration, and tooling to scale a large monorepo across build, test, and release
• ▹A strong AI-forward mindset connecting past technical experience with modern AI-driven development practices (LLM-based automation, context engineering)
• ▹Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• ▹Genuine fit with a high-paced "ship it" culture: self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, data-driven

Nice to have

• ▹Experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or comparable build/workflow systems
• ▹Background in developer experience metrics (DORA, SPACE) and related instrumentation
• ▹Experience operating a large Go monorepo and its surrounding tooling
• ▹Familiarity with supply chain security, container ecosystems (OCI, Kubernetes), or open source communities
• ▹Experience running stakeholder feedback loops with engineering teams as customers
