  • Introduce chaos engineering practices: fault-injection and resilience experiments
  • Standardize tooling and infrastructure to improve day-to-day developer experience
  • Partner with other teams to raise test coverage, reliability, and speed across services
  • Dig into application code to root-cause failures and drive fixes to completion
  • Mentor and guide product engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement

  • Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build
  • Experience designing and building automated test frameworks, understanding the challenges microservices pose for reliable integration and end-to-end testing
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes beyond the basics, able to write a Helm chart with relative ease and follow security best practices
  • Startup experience, comfortable with technical debt and undocumented processes
  • Ownership of tasks from requirements gathering through implementation, deployment, and monitoring

  • Used AI/LLM tooling to build QA automation: test generation, flaky-test triage, or incident-to-regression pipelines
  • Experience with Python or TypeScript, building efficient Dockerfiles and secure container images
  • Implemented load tests with k6 (REST) and ghz (gRPC), analyzed pprof/trace output
  • IaC deployments with Argo CD or Terraform, experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine
