Betsson's Brand Experience Area is hiring a QA Engineer. Brand Experience is responsible for improving the product offering and expanding the portfolio of brands and markets. In this role you test new products using the latest technologies and actively contribute to test coverage, from manual to automated tests, supporting product releases. You are responsible for software quality in an agile team. The QA stack includes the latest versions of Playwright and Puppeteer, Jest, TypeScript and JavaScript, TestRail, GitHub Actions, and HTML5; the automation framework consumes RESTful APIs.
Responsibilities
- ▹Testing new products using the latest technologies, contributing to test coverage from manual to automated tests, supporting product releases
- ▹Developing quality methodologies, testing strategies and plans, communicating with stakeholders, and reporting issues
- ▹Participating in sprint planning, task estimation, development, testing, code reviews, and deployment; implementing new features and maintaining and improving existing functionality
Requirements
- ▹TypeScript and JavaScript
- ▹At least one JavaScript test automation framework (Playwright, Jest+Puppeteer, or Cypress)
- ▹Consuming RESTful APIs
- ▹Unit and Integration tests
- ▹Performance and Accessibility tests
- ▹Testing scalable and performant web applications
- ▹Agile (Scrum) testing
