Senior Data Scientist

Abridge is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its US-based Data Science team to drive product strategy and product decisions with data across its generative-AI healthcare products. Hybrid role with a San Francisco or New York office.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Collect, clean and analyze internal and external data to surface insights, trends and patterns relevant to the business and product
  • ▹Maintain end-to-end visibility of the AI generation pipelines, from internal quality metrics to automated assessment in production
  • ▹Investigate and correct issues identified by data operations monitors, tools and reports
  • ▹User behavior modeling: analyze user interactions, engagement metrics and funnels to improve the product and develop features
  • ▹Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product features and design changes
  • ▹Design and analyze metrics to evaluate AI models and guide the team on gaps in the evaluation process
  • ▹Work with product managers, designers and engineers to translate data insights into product priorities
  • ▹Serve as a domain expert on the business context of analytics data, explaining assumptions and limitations of business metrics
  • ▹Identify and fill gaps in data sources together with product, engineering, partner success and executive teams

Requirements

  • ▹8+ years using Python, R and SQL for analytics
  • ▹5+ years in product-facing roles, driving product outcomes through A/B testing and setting ambitious project and company-level goals
  • ▹Experience with data visualization tools, both BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Sigma) and code-based tools (e.g. Seaborn, ggplot2)
  • ▹Excellent communicator who can present quantitative findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • ▹Comfort building data capabilities from the earliest stages through rapid growth, working closely with data engineering and machine learning
  • ▹In the SF or NYC office at least 3 days per week (hybrid model)
