As part of DEPT®'s Budapest-based Creative & Media team, the Media Strategy Director is the architect of the client's media presence — not just managing a budget, but owning the Media Agenda. As the visionary lead for one of the agency's most complex global accounts, the role translates business goals into a sophisticated, full-funnel media roadmap. Hybrid role, Budapest.
Responsibilities
- ▹Media visionary & figurehead: own the end-to-end media narrative for the client, define the Media Agenda, and ensure consistency and ambition across all brand and performance activities
- ▹Senior stakeholder management: serve as the primary senior point of contact for media strategy, acting as a trusted partner to C-suite stakeholders
- ▹Strategic communication: present clear, compelling, persuasive strategies to senior client management, translating media complexity (attribution, programmatic fragmentation) into actionable business direction
- ▹High-stakes leadership: take hands-on leadership of large, high-impact activations such as international sports sponsorships or global brand moments
- ▹Operational excellence: ensure media strategies are executable, correctly prioritized, and delivered with pace and quality
- ▹Cross-disciplinary orchestration: act as the link between media, creative, influencer and tech to create integrated, full-funnel experiences
- ▹Commercial growth: proactively spot opportunities to expand the scope of work and contribute to new business opportunities
- ▹Practice leadership: help shape DEPT®'s global media propositions, developing best practices and strategic thought leadership
