Responsibilities

• ▹Enhance the Saily product by developing and maintaining new features
• ▹Create features supporting multi-dimensional personalization, A/B experimentation, and analytics
• ▹Develop and maintain a high-quality codebase, continuously improving code and performance
• ▹Mentor colleagues on development best practices and provide technical guidance
• ▹Influence the team's overall vision and long-range goals
• ▹Perform R&D operations whenever required
• ▹Work as part of a cross-functional team, ensuring smooth communication among all team members
• ▹Collaborate with engineering, product, and design professionals from other teams

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of backend development experience
• ▹Experience with at least one backend language: PHP, Python, C#/.NET, Java, or Kotlin
• ▹Solid system design knowledge — knowing which patterns to use, when, and why
• ▹Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis) solutions
• ▹Experience with Kafka
• ▹Ability to design APIs that are easy to use and simple to understand
• ▹Strong product mindset: focus on problems, outcomes, and impact
• ▹Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for working with agents

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with K8s and microservice architecture
