Security Engineer, Detection Response

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Monitor and respond to security alerts across multiple channels, including SOC escalations
• ▹Maintain SIEM logging infrastructure
• ▹Support PCI, SOC2, and ISO audits with evidence gathering
• ▹Develop new detections and security tooling
• ▹Investigate incidents and improve the on-call process
• ▹Manage email security, endpoint security (EDR), and GitHub administration

Requirements

• ▹Extensive experience in security operations, SIEM management, and detection engineering
• ▹Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud security
• ▹Experience with GitHub administration and security controls
• ▹Proficiency in SQL for data analysis
• ▹Hands-on incident response experience
• ▹Strong endpoint management skills across Mac, Windows, and Linux
• ▹Proficiency in one scripting language (Python, Bash) and one compiled language (Rust, Go)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with managed SOC providers and security automation platforms
• ▹Experience in high-growth, cloud-native environments
• ▹Familiarity with serverless functions and API security
