Responsibilities

• ▹Develop deep understanding of guest navigation and re-engagement patterns
• ▹Partner with product and engineering to explore preference-detection frameworks
• ▹Build prototypes to detect and quantify guest preference taxonomies
• ▹Evaluate assumptions and impact through experiments and validation
• ▹Regularly present findings and recommendations to leadership

Requirements

• ▹Causal inference expertise with marketplace experience
• ▹Preferred domain experience in search, UX discovery, personalized systems
• ▹Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics or related field
• ▹9+ years with a PhD (or 12+ years with a Masters)
• ▹Strong communication with cross-functional partners
• ▹Expert in at least one data analysis language (Python or R), familiar with SQL
• ▹Ability to develop proof-of-concept prototypes
• ▹Passion for AI and LLMs
